Harrisburg Holiday Parade!
A long-standing tradition, The Harrisburg Holiday Parade is the largest celebration of its kind in the region. This year, the parade was held on Saturday, November 21, 2009 and was shared with friends and family from near and far.
Local history came alive for with The SusqueCentennial Celebration as the theme of the 2010 Holiday Parade. Holiday Parade took place beginning at City Island and proceeding east to Market Square and the reviewing stands. A highlight of the parade is the new
SusqueCentennial Division previewing Harrisburg’s 150th anniversary celebration. Students from Penn State marched with the 8-foot SusqueCentennial street banners along with Calobe Jackson and others in period costume.
